There will be Struggle on the Way to Confidence & Success

As I sit here to share my feelings and learnings with you I am pondering about the events that took place over the last few weeks. Why do I feel the need to share this? I want you to know that struggle is okay. We all go through different seasons in life. There are going to be up’s, down’s, and of course the in-betweens. I go through this too.

Yep. I am an entrepreneur that sometimes looses focus, lacks motivation, and there are times I think about quitting all together to get a “real” job. But then I realize how grateful I am to have the flexibility to create my own schedule and I have a great support network around me to keep me going! You know who you are… so Thank You for your love and continued support! :)

It was a Monday morning, I was preparing for my week ahead and eagerly waiting for a group call to start that day. I had butterflies in my tummy because I knew there was an exciting announcement to be made on our team call soon! As the announcement was being made I was feeling thrilled inside, but just as quickly as I heard the good news my excitement turned to doubt inside. It was like fear and anxiety set in… Ugh! What happened???

There was something in particular that was said on the call set me off me and I instantly started to doubt myself and my worth. So many negative thoughts, emotions, and questions rolled in…

What was I doing on this call? I don’t belong here.

Why am I doing this?

Am I qualified enough to share about these products?

What will people think of me when I start asking them questions about their health? Why should they believe me?

Are these products even working for me? I feel like they work for everyone else but I don't feel any different???

So many negative thoughts crept into my head. All I could think of is one person, my friend Bonnie. She is a dear friend and also a mentor, my sponsor, teammate, and cheerleader. I knew I needed to talk to her asap! So finally when she was available I called her and unloaded all these doubts and concerns onto her. She of course listened intently, and when I was finally finished she gave me her common sense answers in her calm manner as she does. She was able to comfort me and give me hope without worry.

After I spoke with Bonnie, I was able to reflect back on what could have triggered me on that call. I found that it was my inner critic trying to come in to keep me in the safe zone. (Thank you Carla Howard for this insight!) Our inner critic doesn’t want to see us get hurt but we have to thank her for being there and push past the doubts, fear, and the small thinking. And we have to do this quickly! The moment the negative thought or thoughts creep in, we have to shift our mindset to the positive.

Learnings.

  • a) I was put here on earth (just like you were too) to help those specific people around me to grow. We have been given special gifts and talents to share with the world, so we shouldn’t hold back anymore. We need to let go of the judgements because there will always be outside judgments and critics. Especially as we grow in our personal development, faith, and in our businesses. We have to stand strong in our beliefs and Faith to keep going forward.

  • b) Create a loving supportive circle around you and turn to them in times of need. Lean on them for support because there will be a time they need you and your strength to be given back as well.

  • c) The most important teaching that I have come to realize is we don’t have to do this alone. If you believe, all we need to do is trust in our Father, for he knows our plans for the future.

I hope this has given you hope. Hope that you can push past the things that are holding you back. It takes time but trust and practice gives us the strength to keep going!

Cheers to continuing to help others! Help others get healthy and strong and believe anything is possible! Thank you again to my support network!

Much LOVE

xo, Sabrina
